Our lesson guidelines help keep every session focused, productive and well organised.
Easter break
March 29 – April 4
Christmas & New Year
December 20 – January 9
Summer: No fixed summer break for home lessons.
These dates indicate the Academy’s scheduled holiday periods. However, students who remain in Lagos and wish to continue lessons during Easter, summer, Christmas or New Year may arrange to do so, subject to instructor availability and confirmation by Pianogoddess Academy.
Students who will be travelling or unavailable during these periods should communicate their plans to the Academy in advance.
Punctuality & lesson time
Students must be fully prepared and ready to begin their lessons at the scheduled time. Your lesson time starts as soon as the instructor arrives at your home at the agreed lesson time.
Students are expected to have finished eating, playing and any other activities before the instructor arrives.
- Lesson time starts on arrival: The scheduled 60-minute lesson begins when the instructor arrives at the agreed time.
- No waiting time: If a student is eating, playing or getting ready when the instructor arrives, that time will count as part of the lesson.
- No extra time: Additional time will not be granted to make up for delays caused by the student or parent.
- Be prepared: Parents and students are responsible for ensuring that the student is ready before the instructor arrives.
We value our instructors’ time and expect all families to respect the agreed schedule. Thank you for helping us maintain a professional and productive learning environment.
Missed lessons & rescheduling
Please notify Pianogoddess Academy as early as possible and before your scheduled lesson if you cannot attend.
- Rescheduling: A lesson may be considered for rescheduling when sufficient notice is provided. All rescheduling is handled directly by Pianogoddess Academy.
- Late notice: If notice is not given on time, the lesson will be forfeited and will not be rescheduled.
- Refunds: Payments for missed or forfeited lessons are non-refundable.
If an instructor is unavailable for a scheduled lesson, Pianogoddess Academy will communicate the necessary arrangements.
